We have been inundated with thank you’s from people about the BRDC evening, plus we have spent many hours telling everyone we know how absolutely incredible you all are at Aspire. So, it seems appropriate to open my emails for a brief moment – be strong and not look at my inbox – and tell you just how much we value and appreciate what you did that night for us.

Having invited 75 and have 116 turn up, all worthy guests and unable to turn them away, I was so worried for you – yet, with such grace and courtesy you sat each down and made sure they were fed and happy.

Alex and his team – please can you pass on an enormous thank you. Alex is one in a million and his team served us so well. The calm and gentleness of Alex’s personality made the event run with smoothness and skill – even when the bosses decided to do speeches before the main course! By the time the challenge had made it to Silverstone I was absolutely shattered and had so little sleep I was a walking zombie, so to know I could trust Alex to take over the hosting of the evening was such a relief. His standard was as high as my own and, with so little energy left, I was completely unable to do more than observe and see that everyone was more than satisfied. Please make sure Alex and his team get a huge thank you from us.

Ceris – exceptional lady! I wanted Nigel to know just how much you had given up for him. I observed that he can take people for granted, and there was no way he was going to do that with you that night. You should have been curled up on the sofa recovering from a particularly hectic couple of weeks at Silverstone and yet, you were there, ensuring everyone was looked after. Thank you. As I said, you are an exceptional lady.
